Finally, here are a few more of the women with a vision from eXXpedition. They are doing their part to clean up the planet! We can begin in our own backyards.

Larissa Clark, Communications Manager

Larissa is a passionate advocate for environmental and social justice; Founding Director of Another World Adventures and an energetic marketing & communications specialist. A graduate of the Manchester School of Management (UMIST) with a BSc Hons degree in International Management, she’s also studied at the Warrington College of Business, Florida where she wrote an award winning report on Sustainability in Higher Education.

Larissa splits her time between Vancouver and London, and recently spent two and half years living in Monrovia, Liberia. She has travelled extensively around the world and has sailed across the Atlantic Ocean by tall ship. That voyage was the catalyst the creation of Another World Adventures, which is a specialist marketing platform that connects expert operators with adventure seekers. Recently Larissa produced a short film on air quality ‘AIR: A film about the air we breathe’.

Tori Howse, Partnershps Manager

Tori is an environmental advocate, feminist and a Founding Director of specialist travel platform Another World Adventures. As an environmental science graduate she spent 15 years working in the UK for non profits and government departments tackling a wide range of issues from waste to energy efficiency to air pollution, making big environmental issues real and relevant at a local level. In 2011, she achieved a lifelong ambition to sail across the Atlantic Ocean, a journey that sparked a new career and a passion for ocean protection. She has travelled to many parts of the world, but is never happier than when exploring a cold climate or on a boat at sea.

Nikkey Dawn, Social Media Manager

Nikkey is a designer/illustrator and photographer who uses her work as a tool to connect people with the environment. She has spent many years working in and with clients in the eco-tourism industry. She sailed as part of the eXXpedition North Pacific 2018 crew and started volunteering as eXXpedition Social Media Manager at the end of 2018.

Lucy Gilliam , Co-founder and Advisor

Lucy is a professional changemaker with a Degree in Biology and Phd in Molecular Microbiology. Her career has spanned academia, government, grassroots activism and supranational policy making. Lucy has a life-long passion for tackling climate change and toxic pollution. Currently, she works for Brussels based NGO, Transport & Environment, tackling climate impacts and pollution from shipping and aviation. She has sailed on three eXXpedition voyages and continues to support the project as a technical advisor and ambassador for the cause.
